TRON leads top 10 as markets trade flat


Over the last 24 hours, the cryptocurrency market cap saw net inflows of $1.17 billion and currently stands at $812.5 billion — up 0.14%.

Meanwhile, Bitcoin and Ethereum’s market cap grew 0.4% and 0.3%  to $324.83 billion and $148.89 billion, respectively.

The top 10 cryptocurrencies posted a mixed performance over the last 24 hours. TRON recorded the most significant gains, up 2%. In contrast, Cardano brings up the rear, down 2%.

Over the reporting period, the market cap of Tether (USDT) recorded marginal gains to $66.26 billion. Meanwhile, USD Coin (USDC) and BinanceUSD (BUSD) saw slight decreases to $44.41 billion and $18.06 billion, respectively.

Bitcoin

Over the last 24 hours, Bitcoin grew 0.4% to trade at $16,884 as of 07:00 ET. Its market dominance rose slightly to 40.0% from 39.9%.

During the reporting period, the leading cryptocurrency topped out at $17,062 yesterday morning (ET). BTC has since been ranging between $16,768 and $16,930.

Ethereum

Ethereum recorded a gain of 0.3% over the last 24 hours to trade at $1,217 as of 07:00 ET. Its market dominance stayed flat at 18.3% over the reporting period.

The price performance of ETH mirrored that of BTC. A peak of $1,231 on Tuesday morning (ET) was followed by a bottom of $1,198. Since then, ETH has traded in a tight range between $1,203 and $1,230.

MVL increased 20.3% to $0.00396 as of press time. No new fundamental developments were noted. Its market cap stood at $88.16 million.

LYXe rose by 15.5% in the last 24 hours to $5.94935. Multiple updates were announced, including the nearing of its mainnet launch. Its market cap stood at $91.665 million.

POWR was up 12.7% over the reporting period to $0.14684 as of press time. Its market cap stood at $70.63 million.
